As a Material Coordinator, you’ll play a key role in keeping our operations running smoothly by managing the flow of materials and parts throughout the facility. You’ll own critical warehousing and inventory processes, including receiving and distributing goods and supporting production through timely material handling, cycle counts, and inventory accuracy. This role requires strong attention to detail, a proactive mindset, and a commitment to quality and safety.

What You Do
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Receive and distribute goods received to the appropriate department or storage area.
- Own daily cycle count processes to optimize inventory accuracy.
- Perform warehouse walk-throughs to create and maintain records of low inventory and cycle counting.
- Receive, distribute, and store products as directed in orderly, safe, and secure manner.
- Transport and load materials, supplies, and finished goods (manually and/or using hand trucks and skids).
- Prepare kits of materials for the production team & replenish supply stores as needed.
- Ensure products and parts meet company and customer quality and product integrity requirements.
- Identify, log, and report malfunctions or defects in product and parts performance.
- Assist with root cause analysis for product defects and implement corrective action for products.
- Assist Plant Manager with inventory control; ensure accurate posting of inventory transfers. Facilitative inventory cycle counting.
- Use various machines and hand tools to accomplish assigned tasks.
- Supports the Plant Manager with vendor management to ensure timely deliveries and reconcile daily delivery statuses
Physical Requirements
- Frequently: Prolonged periods of standing and walking around a manufacturing shop.
- Frequently: Prolonged periods of standing and sitting while performing repetitive tasks.
- Frequently: Manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination to evaluate parts and materials.
- Frequently: Ability to differentiate between colored wires, tabs, and electronic components.
- Frequently: Stretch, squat, and reach to store products
- Frequently: Bend, lean, crouch, sit, and kneel to store products.
- Frequently: Carry, lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds at a time.
